Soulfunks open the night — an eight-piece powerhouse with dynamic female vocalists, driving horn sections and a rhythm section locked in tighter than a James Brown countdown. Their setlist tears through the best of uptempo sixties soul and seventies funk, and if you've seen them before, you already know what's coming. Then The Unfunkables step up to close out the night with their own groove-heavy brand of live funk and soul. Two bands, one stage, zero excuses for staying home
